Additional Information

  • The Cleveland features our signature heavy timber framing: 8″ × 8″ posts, 6″ × 10″ main beams, 6”x8” rafters, and 4″ × 8″ braces. It also features a wing on the front, built from a massive 6×12. All timbers are rough‑sawn Eastern White Pine, sanded and finished with an oil‑based stain + sealer for durability.

  • A popular size is a 16’x16’ footprint. The footprint is measured from outside of one post to the outside of the next. The roofline is the footprint + the overhang, which is 2’ on the front and back of the Cleveland. On a 16’x16’ Cleveland, the roofline would be 20’x20’. The standard roof pitch is 4/12.

  • We offer 8 different stain colors. Our stain is an oil-based stain and sealer. For roofing, we offer residential rib‑panel metal roof, and CertainTeed dimensional shingles. Our add on options include integrated wiring channels, privacy walls, metal fascia, PVC post sleeves, and engineered drawings.

  • All of kits are designed for DIY or contractor‑assisted assembly: every piece is pre‑cut, and ready for assembly. The Cleveland is classified as a moderate build, basic construction experience will take you a long way! Heavy equipment is not required, and the build can typically be completed in a weekend.

  • The Cleveland features real timber beams and its signature large open front. Like the all of our structures, it’s designed to host gatherings, for outdoor kitchens, to provide shade and shelter, to elevate the look and feel of outdoor living, and whatever else you may need it for! The Cleveland’s edge over the rest is its extra large open front, great for venues and other entertainment focused environments.
